The Hopeful Shepard: Befr? That loud old trader in the village? Never spoken to him. Looks useless enough.

The shepherd lets out a long, weary breath, eyes drifting past you toward the fields.

Everything is hopeless. Spent my whole life chasing after these cursed sheep, and the moment the fence goes down in this damned war, they are gone. Bolted. Not a thought for me. Never cared for me a moment. The Hopeful Shepard: Figures. Sounds about right.

The shepherd lets out a long, weary breath, eyes drifting past you toward the fields.

What else is there to do? If by some miracle you really wanted to help, I would need fence posts and someone to put the damned thing back together. Then we would have to drag the sheep back before the Goblins get to them. They probably will anyway. The Hopeful Shepard: It is not me. No one ever wants to help me. That is how it has always been.
